Text:This manual is designed to familiarize Air Force personnel with the unique mission of 26 NORAD Region's SAGE Programming Agency. Nontechnical language will be used so that both programmers and operations, command and staff personnel will have a common reference concerning the scope of computer program design, documentation, maintenance, and testing responsibilities. Lack of clear communications between operations personnel (the users) and computer technicians has probably been the single greatest impediment to effective use of any computer system. This is an effort to minimize this difficulty.
