In order to meet Class B requirements, you must install a ferrite bead on each end of the SCSI cable, following the instructions below. For complete regulatory information, see the “Manufacturer's Regulatory Declarations” section in the Appendix of the O2 Workstation Owner's Guide.
Open the ferrite bead plastic case (by releasing the side catch) and wrap it around the cable, close to the cable connector (see above illustration).
Snap the ferrite bead plastic case closed around the cable (see above illustration).
Repeat steps 1 and 2 to attach the other ferrite bead to the other end of the SCSI cable.
Connect one end of the SCSI cable to your workstation and the other to the first disk drive in your drive stack.
