New configuration examples:
Introduction of the term cluster administration node, which is a node that is installed with the cluster_admin software product, allowing the node to perform cluster administration tasks and contain a copy of the cluster database. Nodes that you want to run as CXFS metadata servers in a coexecution cluster must be installed as CXFS server-capable administration nodes. If a node will not run in a coexecution cluster, you should define it as a client administration node. FailSafe nodes cannot be defined as client-only nodes For more information, see “Terminology” in Chapter 1, “Define a Node” in Chapter 5, and the CXFS Software Installation and Administration Guide.
When upgrading to IRIX 6.5.18f, already existing nodes of type CXFS and FailSafe will by default be assigned as server-capable administration nodes if they had a CXFS node weight of 1. Nodes that were of type FailSafe or unweighted will be defined as client administration nodes.
Use of the new command name fsmgr(1M). The fsmgr command has the same function as the fstask and fsdetail commands, which are kept for historical purposes; see “Starting the GUI” in Chapter 4.
The build_cmgr_script(1M) command, which generates a cmgr(1M) script from the cluster database. The script can be used later to recreate the cluster database after performing a cdbreinit. See “Creating a cmgr Script Automatically” in Chapter 4.
