SGImeeting Overview
SGImeeting is a collaborative data conferencing software product. With SGImeeting, IRIX users can participate in multipoint data conferences with other colleagues running T.120-compliant conferencing systems such as Microsoft® NetMeeting(TM) and SunForum(TM).
With SGImeeting you can:
| share applications (even across different platforms) | |
| use a shared whiteboard to display, annotate, and create graphics | |
| chat (exchange and save a log of text messages) | |
| exchange files | |
| copy and paste data from one system to another | |
| use an internet directory to quickly locate and contact users of compatible conferencing programs |
If you have purchased a license for the SGImeeting whiteboard plugins, you can also:
| display a still or dynamically updated video image in the whiteboard | |
| display a still or dynamically updated area of your screen in the whiteboard | |
| use arrows for annotation and dimension indicators on the whiteboard | |
| use a drag-and-drop symbol palette to expedite whiteboard communications |
