Text:The IRIS SNA Server Administration Guide explains how to configure, operate and maintain IRIS SNA Server software using SNAView, a graphical interface tool for managing SNA connectivity on Silicon Graphics systems. This guide is written for system administrators who are responsible for managing user services (such as 3270 terminal emulation) and program services (including LU 0-3 and LU 6.2 applications and application development). Introductory chapters describe SNA Server software architecture and its relationship to other Silicon Graphics products that support IBM host connectivity. The remaining chapters provide illustrated instructions for using SNAView to achieve the connectivity requirements of the server and to monitor SNA activity. Appendixes offer detailed information about the features and implemented functions of SNA Server software, its return codes and error messages.
