It is written for system and network administrators who are responsible for configuring servers that provide local and wide area network services. It explains how to set up the initial configuration of synchronous communications software and how to modify the configuration after it is established. It is not necessary to use this guide if you plan to use the graphical interface to network software configuration (see the SX.25 Administrator's Guide.)
